On 17th October, in my post Birthdays, doilies and clouds, I pictured a weird cloud formation on the River Nene, where an overcast day seemed simply to come to a dead halt, with blue sky beyond, and the sun giving it a truly silver lining.
Last week, as if in reply, the Webdesigner Depot blog handily came up with The weirdest clouds that you'll ever see, of which the most striking, for me, was the lava-lamp pattern. A brilliant selection of odd clouds here, although the pudding's a bit over-egged with too many bright but not unusual skyscapes.
