I was at Great Haywood overnight and noticed blogging boat NB Caxton just a few feet away. I didn't interrupt them - mainly because I wasn't sure if it actually was the Caxton. I thought I'd check the following morning.
Well, yes it was, and owners Lesley and Joe beat me to it this morning, knocking on my window as I was behind the curtains, wandering round in my underpants as usual.
There's an old saying: There are no strangers, only friends you've not yet met.
Other blogging boaters compile lists of friends they've met and not yet met. Sue of No Problem, for example, lists all the blogs she knows about on a single page, bundled together, but the friends she's met are coloured in red. (I'm in red, Lesley and Joe of Caxton aren't.)
Maffi, on the other hand, isn't colour-prejudiced, but he does practice segregation. His friends are listed above the strangers, in a column on the right of the page. In this case, I'm a stranger to him. He's yet to meet me.

Goodness me Andrew, had you been starting your New Year celebrations a little early this year? I am sure that I knocked on the side of Granny AFTER I had seen you on the stern, fully dressed I might add, talking to another boater...
