Anyone recognise the boat, or the marina?
Hmm. "Continuous cruiser licence in the London area". Firstly there's no such thing as a separate 'continuous cruiser licence'. And even if there was, it wouldn't be 'in the London area', as that would be breaking the terms of continuous cruising.

Update 17/3: OK … this is all getting a bit sensitive. After a phone call from Sam Dodd of Narrowboat homes, I've edited this post. And I've suspended some of the comments (not actually deleted them, but hidden them from public view.
A few comments on the post above:
Firstly, it does not look good for a 'man with a van' service to share a phone number with a business that offers to look after someone's pride and joy canal boat. It's likely that he didn't realise it at the time, but Google is the great leveller. Any time you want to know who on earth someone is, type their phone number into the Great Leveller.
Secondly, in the year of the credit crunch, "bad credit will be considered" is the language of the loan shark. I can't help but wonder how they cope with bad debts, because bad credit is the obverse of bad debts.
Thirdly, this ad was quickly removed after I put up this post yesterday. I told Sam the previous two points, and she clearly took them on board – so to speak.
On the web, everyone can hear you scream.

A very priggish attitude to take!
