You can now subscribe to a feed of comments on Granny Buttons
I'm delighted to discover you can now subscribe to RSS feeds for individual posts and comments on Granny Buttons.
What this means is that if you have made a comment, you can easily and automatically read what other people say on the same post, without having to remember to come back to the page.
[If you don't understand, don't worry your pretty little head about it. I myself would much rather have a pretty little head than be an expert.
'Comment feeds' is a feature that Wordpress has long had, and other blog systems too. I'm glad Typepad finally got there. It's a major incentive for me to stay with them, because I think Typepad is still the easiest blog platform to tweak and change.
Oh dear, this post needs a canal-related link. Umm… how about the Route Canal Podcast?
Your weekly podcast about life on and around the Rideau Skateway and the
202 kilometer125 miles of rivers, lakes and engineered canals that link the communities of Eastern Ontario, Canada.
The Route Canal podcast only lasted a few weeks in early 2007, but it's worth listening to. And because a true podcast is a feed that you can subscribe to, I've stayed subscribed just in case it starts up again.
I love the Route Canal podcast. It says the Rideau canal closes in March (because it thaws!).
Not content with being a World Heritage Site, the Rideau Canal is also described as 'The World's Largest Skating Rink'.
