Mortimer Bones says she's "rather fond of skulls and skeletons".
I am too, probably more than she is. Indeed, I won't go anywhere without mine.
I don't collect others (one set's enough for me) but I'm quite taken by Skull-A-Day, a wonderful blog that's all things skull.
My favourite is the Butternut Squash skull, although the Papercraft skull (with articulated jaw) must run it a close second.
All my posts must have a waterways-related link. I can't find one on Skull-A-Day, so Narrowboat Bones itself can serve as the waterways-related link. Hey, and it's skull-related too!
Skull-A-Day is scheduled to be turned into a 'blook', which should make a wonderful gift next Christmas for poor Dr Bones, whose Christmas this year was rather spoiled by an accident.

Maybe you were searching for the wrong kind of skull?

That's how I got my degree from Imperial College in the 60's... :)
Even did a couple of Thames locks one VERY long weekend.
And these sculls have an 'official' listing as an inland waterways boat...
