Officially a masterpiece - North Wales Post
The North Wales Post, probably the main regional paper for the Llangollen area, gets the Pontcysyllte World Heritage Site story wrong.
Not only the Ponty aqueduct was nominated, so was the first 11 miles of the Llangollen Canal, including the Chirk aqueduct and Horseshoe Falls.
However, it's in good company, as I mentioned yesterday. The BBC and pretty much every newspaper - and even Llangollen's local Welsh Assembly member Karen Sinclair - echoed the error.

More muddled reporting in the text, how can the iron trough be 1007 ft long at its highest point? Its like the BBC report that the Shropshire Canal runs virtical to Newport High St.
