BLT lunch at The Plough Inn, Huddlesford Junction, nr Lichfield, in the middle of my blogging.
The Plough is fast becoming my local. I updated Granny Buttons from there on Sunday, and I'm here now on Tuesday for lunch. Free wifi is the draw, but they also do a nice plated sandwich lunch. £4.95 for this plateful, plus £2.65 for a pint of cider. And two hours of free wifi, all at a very comfortable table.
When you consider McDonald's charge £5 for an hour's wifi (plus the cost of a typical meal - £4.19, not including cider), the value here is evident. Mind you, they are quiet now, so I'm not hogging space or bandwidth. Might be different if there were others looking for table space.

Help! The invisible man!

Love the "roses & castles"!
I'm always keen to hear about "computing afloat" so thanks for sharing that. If you could send me a few chips down their wifi that'd be even better!

The Plough's web site is too memory greedy for a computer's health - I suspect it's the Flash, or it might be their server. When you are in next, tell them their food service is faster than their Net service!
