Wi-fi at Wigram's Turn Marina, Napton Junction
Keith of NB Quidditch quickly writes to tell me that the new marina wi-fi I wrote about earlier tonight is actually at Wigram's Turn Marina. And NOT at 'Napton Marina'. Sorry, mea culpa. I was misinformed. But it is at Napton Junction, so I'm sort of half-right.
He should know: He's based there, and he's using it now: "I have to say that this is a cracking facility to have."
Hey, Quidditch is another narrowboat blog, running since 2004. Keith, I didn't know about you - were you waiting for me to find you under my own steam? Well, gotcha now!
Actually Keith's running four blogs at once: The basic vanilla boat blog, the photo album blog, the boat diary (not sure why it's separate from the boat blog) and his astronomy blog. He's also an enthusiastic birdwatcher, but he's drawn the line at four blogs. I'm surprised he can manage that many - my efforts on Granny Buttons are enough for me.
Wigram's Turn (the old boatmen's name for Napton Junction) is a new marina, opened only last spring or summer. It's pretty large, but there's no web site and I can't find too much about it right now. More information please.
